Pizza is great but stingy AF when it comes to the cheese and pepper flakes at times. You can never go wrong with Toppers especially their Pepperoni pizza, Buffalo chicken pizza or their Hot Honey Pizza.
Go to spot for party take out pizzas. They've got lots of options for toppings that you can mix and match. their wings were pretty darn good nice and crispy with a few different flavors. They've also got a nice salad bar if you're sitting in person as well as indoor outdoor seating space.
The food was so yummy. The service was good. The ambiance was so simple, I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I'm so glad it's close by.
We just arrived in Ventura and literally stumbled upon Toppers Pizza. We were familiar with Toppers in Oxnard but wasn't sure if it was the same place. Boy, fresh, fresh, fresh!! All ingredients were so good and the salad bar was perfect to satisfy fresh vegetable need. Roaming staff everywhere ensuring salad bar is clean and stocked, not to mention coming to the table often to remove extra unwanted dishes! What an unexpected treat for out of town guests!
Great pizza, crispy perfectly baked crust, sauce, cheese, toppings all perfectly yummy. Large restaurant with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Also they had local beers you could get pitchers of!
Lunch with coworker ... and we were trying to figure out where to go! Toppers never disappoints. Founded in my hometown of Oxnard, it is def a favorite!!! I had been to this local before years ago. I usually go to the one in Oxnard on Gonzales or the one on Front Street in Ventura. This is an older location that could use some remodeling and upgrading. I would love for their older locations to get some love :) Our pizzas were perfect. Came up quick! We were out within our allotted lunch time! Woohooo! My only rec is .. if you're looking for a nicer place- I'd recommend going to their Front Street location here in Ventura or their location in Oxnard by the harbor. Love the views at those two the most!!! If you're not an Oxnard hater .. my favorite is the harbor location right by the water! Regardless of which location you choose .. great pizza! Ask for it well done, since the upgrade to their ovens the crust can be underdone at times :/ This is our hack! Crispy crunchy pizza each time if you eat on site!
A large group of us came here on a Saturday night and were, fortunately, able to find seating on the patio. It was winter, but there were heaters. The food came very quickly and was pretty good. I wish the patio tables were more comfortable, but it is a very large and accommodating patio. The pizza is good and still relatively affordable as far as pizza goes for a dine in place. Reminds me of being young and going to dine-in pizza huts.
Been going to Toppers since I was a kid! The food has always been awesome! The quick lunch is the best deal by far! I always get it because I need the salad with the pizza always! The best salad bar, so many choices and always fresh and clean! The pizza is so tasty and the perfect size! It's a bit pricy when you get the bigger sizes but very worth it!
